Members of the Comox Valley Disc Golf Club enjoyed some sunshine on the veranda at The Park before their round on Wednesday, 11 June 2025. On this evening there was a raffle held in support of Thomas Gilbert and Sofia Donneke’s impending trip to represent Canada at the World Games 2025 in ChengDu. These two pros were joined by White Rock legend Chance Stad as they offered up a round to 3 lucky raffle winners each.

We at the CVDGC are grateful to be able to contribute to the growth of the sports, and the journeys of our Canadian pros.

A special mention goes to Tyler Iwanson of Sunlife who drew a winning ticket to play with Thomas Gilbert, then gave it up to one of our Junior players (Ollie) in the belief that it is better served as such. This is the type of generosity and camaraderie that makes our club such a remarkable thing. Many thanks.
